Hi!
I’m Dr. Vallejo
I’m so glad you’re here! I am a bilingual, bicultural licensed psychologist based in Wisconsin. I work with adults of all ages presenting with a variety of concerns, including challenging relationships with families of origin, difficulties with understanding and expressing emotions, first gen and immigrant experiences, race-based stress, ADHD, concerns with physical health, and mood disorders.
Clients who work with me often identify improved awareness and understanding of their own emotions and behaviors, positive behavior changes, decreased distress and use of more effective coping skills, improved communication and interactions with others, and living more in alignment with their own values.
I am happy to provide services in English, Spanish, and of course Spanglish. My approach to care is a balance between practice supported by research and recognition of the limits of our existing research. I strive to create a space that fosters openness and authenticity by offering empathy, non-judgment and compassion. I also recognizes that therapy is one of many paths to mental wellness, and encourage a holistic approach to your care.
In addition to my clinical work, I am an experienced presenter, taking pride in delivering messages to audiences that help reduce mental health stigma and improve mental wellness.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
While I don’t accept insurance directly, you may have out-of-network benefits through your insurance, which means that they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. With Thrizer, you will only have to pay a copay for our sessions, instead of paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursements. This can help you save on average 70% upfront on our sessions. During our intake process, I can help you verify if you have out-of-network benefits and how much your copay would be.
What are your fees?
I offer a free 15-minute consultation for all services to first figure out if we are a good match.
A psychological evaluation for immigration purposes typically costs $1200 and includes a comprehensive report that is provided to your or your attorney within 2 weeks of our final meeting. Additional feels may apply for edits after submission, testimony, or rush services.
The rate for an initial therapy appointment is $250 and $200 for follow-up sessions (45-50 minutes).
